1994 Ranger 354V is it worth fixing up?

So my boyfriend just snagged this older boat, a 1994 Ranger 354V, that fit his budget, and it's actually in pretty nice condition! He's super stoked to start tinkering and fixing up anything he finds broken.

we both love sailing, and we've been thinking about buying a boat for a long time. but now we wonder if this older boat is really worth pouring money into? It does have a 2005 low hour 140hp Suzuki on it, which seems like a big plus, right?

Also, for those of you with older Rangers or similar boats, do you know of any good sources for misc. parts?

We're talking everything from small interior bits to maybe some deck hardware.
And generally, what are your thoughts on this particular 1994 Ranger 354V model?

Any common quirks or things we should watch out for?

The 140hp Suzuki alone makes the whole setup worth a second look. If the hull is clean and the transom is not soft, most likely it's worth it.

That 354V is a good boat if it's been cared for, the low hour 140hp, suzuki is a big plus, for parts, check salvage yards, forums, and Ranger directly but watch out for soft spots in the transom and stringers, plus old wiring issues, if you don't mind a bit of work, it's definitely worth it and can be a fun project without running your pockets dry
