Adding Back up Lights

Thought about it for a while now and finally making moves to add backup lights to my Z519, mainly for early morning launches and loading up after sunset, my tow rig lights help a bit, but I'd feel a lot better with something mounted on the trailer or the transom for extra visibility.
So please before I go ahead, has anyone here done a clean install that didn't look like an afterthought?, need all the details from the lights you used to the wiring or if you haven't done one and can still help me out will be greatly appreciated

Great choice with the backup lights. They really make a difference for those early morning launches and late-night returns. I set up my trailer last season with some waterproof LED pods, and I wired them to the reverse pin on a 7-blade plug. They look sleek and have performed perfectly so far. Are you thinking about mounting them on the transom or the trailer frame? I'd love to share what worked out best for each spot!

Nice! Extra lights can make a big difference during those low light ramps, I agree. I haven't done it myself yet. I'm curious though, are you thinking wired into the trailer plug or a separate switch setup on the boat?

Extra lighting makes a huge difference for those early and late runs. haven't tried it as well so I'm just as curious. Anyone here got pics of their install?

I installed some round LED backup lights. I believe they were somewhere around 40 Led's. It's amazing how they light up the area behind the boat. My Ranger is a 2001 520. I used a 3" hole saw to cut out for the lights witch was the proper size for lights purchased. I had just enough room for the 3" hole. They snapped in place. Wired off the reversing back up light system.
